Walk Together Children
Join us as we walk for the first time in Chicago’s Pride Parade. Contact us by Saturday, June 22 to reserve your space in the group!
The Chicago Black Gay Men’s Caucus works to bridge the gap and strengthen the places we call home. Our programming provides for over 1,500 Black gay and bisexual men annually, improving their health and wellness outcomes through engaging health care and service providers, mentors and one another.
In 2010, President Obama tasked his administration with developing the National HIV/AIDS Strategy which called upon us to intensify HIV prevention and linkage-to-care efforts in the communities where HIV is most heavily concentrated.
To continue providing programs and events to the hundreds of Black gay and bisexual men that we encounter every year, we rely on the generous contributions of community members, businesses and local government. As a result of the generous support that we have received from our Departments of Public Health, 100% of your donation goes directly toward the programming!
Your cash donation will directly support our contact with Black gay, bisexual and other men who have sex with men. Imagine what your contributions can do:
$25 – Print health awareness pamphlets depicting healthy, strong Black gay/bisexual men
$100 – Ten additional Sexual Health Resource Kits enter the hands of those that need them
$500- Twenty service providers trained to better provide culturally competent services
There are many other ways to support our work, such as attending one of our fundraisers, volunteering and providing in-kind services or products.
CBGMC is committed to helping every Black gay/bisexual man in the Chicago area realize his full potential. With your support we can keep up the momentum and build on our recent successes!
Thank you for your support,
